My birthday had already passed and it is still a few weeks before Christmas, but for my Nanay, there is no need for an occasion to give gifts.Last weekend, I was reading Robert James Waller’s Bridges of Madison County (thanks K.D. for my copy!) and out of the blue, I just asked my mother whether she has a spare bookmark. When she came out of the room, she handed me this:

WEEE! Love, love, love! <3

It turned out, Nanay had been thinking of giving me the bookmark in December, but last Saturday was just the perfect time to give it to me, so she might as well think of another gift to give me for the Christmas. Haha! 😛

The bookmark looks even more perfect when used in a book. Right? 😉

I think the chain looks very elegant. 🙂

A closer look at the chain:

For me, what makes this gift even more special is because it is given by a person dear to my heart. Nanay may not always tolerate my book hoarding habits, but she certainly tolerates my passion for reading. *big grins*

Thanks so much dear Nanay. You are the sweetest! <3
