For the past two days I’ve been busy shoe-shopping but I can’t resist making a short detour to a Booksale branch nearby. My recent book buys gave my weary and frustrated spirits a pleasant high that only other booklovers/hoarders can easily relate with.
Here are my latest Booksale purchases:
- The Giver by Lois Lowry. What a sweet surprise seeing a copy for only Php17.00! 🙂
- Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler. A Pulitzer winner and my furst ever Anne Tyler book.
- Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant by Anne Tyler. The title looks interesting. Let’s see if I will find a new favorite author in Anne Tyler. I bought the two Tyler books for only Php15.00 each.
- Pardon Me, Your Stepping On My Eyeball by Paul Zindel. I have loved Paul Zindel ever since I read The Pigman. This copy cost me Php35.00.
Before I end this post, I also want to share my sister’s Booksale find (yes, we shopped together, haha!).
Jeffery Deaver is a mutual fave for both of us but I will leave the collecting to my sister. After all, I can still freely borrow her books. Hihi. 😀
Hello, mountain TBR!
