REQUIRED READING: May

April has been a dismal reading month, at least with respect to my required reading list. I listed only two books in my list for May but I wasn’t able to finish even one! I started with The Oath, all right, but I managed to only reach what looks like a third of the book, and before I knew it, April ended!

This does not mean, though, that the previous month was a sore reading month because I was still able to finish reading several books, one of which is A Game of Thrones , which was a pretty humungous book. Plus, I finally received my Kindle Touch, which I must say was the highlight of April! Yay! 🙂

So, despite the unaccomplished required reading list, April was still a fairly  good reading month! 🙂

Now on to this month’s list:

First off, May is my wedding month (not that the celebration will last for a month, but still) and I don’t think I’ll be able to squeeze in any more readings. However, I don’t want to be on a reading drought so I figure one book will be manageable, considering that I still have to finish all the books left over from the previous month.

If Tina (the host of this meme) will be reading fantasy for this month, I will endeavor to finish The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks. I think the reason why I chose this book is already obvious so I will explain no further. 😉 The Wedding is a follow up to the famous The Notebook by the same author and I am already excited to start! 🙂

What do you plan to read this month? I would love to hear about it! 🙂

    1. Haha! I cannot say that both Coelho and Sparks share the same level in my shelf (I will definitely choose Sparks over Coelho but this is an entirely separate topic). I chose this book in order to be in sync with the wedding month (why do I feel I have to justify my choice? haha). :))
