Well, well. I know that I mentioned in my last BITM post that I will include ebooks I receive through emails, I can’t seem to keep up with such promise. You see, I have a very good friend who regularly (and generously) sends me ebooks every now and then and so I just cannot keep up making a post for every batch (yes, batch) that comes. So far, I have received from her young-adult books, as well as chick-lit, memoirs, autobiographies, John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Haruki Murakami, Judith McNaught, among others. This generous soul was also the friend who sent me my Kindle.
I am blessed, yes?
Having said that, I am now devoting this post to a book that came in my mail just today. Lookie here:
My first ever Jasper Fforde book!

I have heard so many good things about Jasper Fforde’s books, and I have been wanting to read The Eyre Affairto see if it suits my taste. The book is hard to find in Booksale, though, (or maybe I did not look hard enough) so when Kwesi tweeted that he saw a copy in a Booksale in Manila, I asked him if he would be kind enough to buy the book for me — which he agreed! Yay! (Kwesi, just let me know how I can pay you back, okay? And yes, I will gladly treat you to a Tatoy’s dinner if you want. Hee.)
I love the book’s cover, if only I can remove that marking on the upper right edge. Here, take a closer look:

I have seen the sequels too here but I want to read the first book first and see whether I love the story enough to continue reading the series.
