Books in the Mail: Birthday Gifts

Books in the Mail new button

*****

I celebrated my 32nd birthday last month, and because my friends from the book club know me too well, they sent me books (what else would it be, right?) as gifts. Of course, all bookish gifts are welcome and most appreciated. So, from the bottom of my (bookish) heart: THANK YOU! ♥ I feel so blessed to have such gracious and thoughtful friends. 🙂

The books:

  • All Is Fair In Blog and War by Chrissie Peria. After reading so many good reviews about this contemporary romance novella by a local author, I have put this book up on my wishlist. I was actually planning on purchasing a copy but I guess good friends do operate on the same wavelength, right? Because the lovely Tina decided to Kindle gift me with this one. 😉

  • But That Won’t Wake Me Up is a colorful storybook for the little girl who is already enjoying the pictures. 😉
  • A Bottle of Storm Clouds by Eliza Victoria. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things from the local book blogging community about Eliza Victoria and her creepy, spooky, eerie stories which aren’t common in the local reading scene. I’m interested to read something of this genre by a local author and I have already included this book for my Required Reading list this month.

Happy birthday to me! 🙂
