The topic for today is actually Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read list, but since there is no fall in the Philippines where I am from, I made slight modification and decided to come up instead with Top Ten Books On My To-Be-Read List Before The Year Ends.

One of my reading resolutions for this year is to read the books from this list, and I have actually made substantial progress on this. Here is my Top Ten Books On My Fall To-Be-Read list a.k.a. Top Ten Books On My To-Be-Read List Before The Year Ends:

  1. Home by Marilynne Robinson
  2. The History of Love by Nicole Krauss
  3. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
  4. The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
  5. The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
  6. The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri
  7. Case Histories by Kate Atkinson
  8. Room by Emma Donoghue
  9. Smaller and Smaller Circles by F.H. Batacan
  10. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

I don’t know if I will be able to finish all of these books with only 3 more months left before the year ends, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. After all, these are all books I am dying to read and I am fast becoming an expert on speed reading and multi-tasking aka reading while the watching over the baby. 😀

  1. I definitely missed Fall when I was a Rotex on Mindanao when I was in high school. The rainy season was nice, though!

I’ve read THE EYRE AFFAIR and MISS PEREGRINE’S — both are great. I hope you enjoy them and all the rest of the books on your list.

    1. Hi Susan! I would love to experience Fall, though. 🙂 And I am looking forward to reading The Eyre Affair soon. Maybe next month. Thanks for dropping by! 🙂
