Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. And here I am, thinking if I should still continue with book blogging. (But I recently renewed my subscription so I guess I’m sticking around here for at least one more year.)
Honestly, my life’s had some adjustments this year that it’s been difficult for me to keep up with my blogging duties. Reading (non-work related) has become the least of my priorities and this also holds true with blogging. However, I also feel sentimental when I think about not blogging anymore because, you see, it’s been five years. Five years of reading and putting my bookish thoughts into words and even interacting with fellow book lovers. There’s just too much feelings and thoughts and bookish love here. I even consider blogging to be one of the things that reading has changed in my life. I can’t just simply stop, can I?
So, as I’ve said, I’m sticking around. I may not be able to post as often as I used to but I’ll still be here. But I’ll try to come up with (readable) posts as much as I can and as much as I can get enough reading done. (Also, I’ll do my best in replying to comments as soon as possible. Thank you, friends, for even reading me. Hee.)
Thank you for the five years, dearest book blog. I would’ve wanted a grander celebration (than just a cupcake) but let me deal with work first and I’ll get back to you (maybe next year?). In the meantime, here’s some chocolate:
Happy 5th anniversary to us! ♥
