My Year In Reading + Best Reads of 2017

Happy New Year! It's only today that I got to writing a recap of my 2017 reading-wise, and I had already made my peace about how my blogging should not be a stressor, so here we go. My 2017 In Reading: Compared to 2016, my reading experience in 2017 was less than stellar. I got to read a fewer number of books, and if my Goodreads account is to be believed (I don't update religiously), I read only 27 books last year compared to the 46 of 2016, and most of them were really forgettable. THE SUMMER SERIES by Jenny Han

I've heard a lot of good things about Jenny Han and the Summer Series but because I am not a huge YA fan, I had never really intentionally read any of her books, that is, until I needed to read a "third book in a trilogy" as a category in the Bingo Challenge I joined for the book club this year.
