book blogging

Wednesday Diaries (and what I aim to do)

November is the month that I celebrate my blog's birthday (my blog will turn three on November 16, to be precise) and as part of the celebration, I am introducing another blog feature which, I hope, will keep me more interested motivated in writing more reviews -- at least the kind of reviews that my measly writing skills can come up with. I have noticed that most of my posts lately are memes -- not that I'm not enjoying them; I do! -- but I wanted to see/read more of my thoughts on a book I've read, too. this site might be dormant for a while (and my August 2013 reading plan)

This post is supposed to be a Required Reading post -- a monthly meme I've been conscientiously following since last year. welcome me back, please!

It's been exactly 16 days since this blog has gone down. I have ranted, cussed, cursed, and screamed silent abominations about HOW LOUSY OUR WEB HOST WAS and since we've already transferred to a new (and hopefully, better) host (it should be better because it's more expensive, hey), I know that I should feel better now. But you know what? I am still having mixed emotions about all that transpired for the past two weeks concerning this book blog. I know that I must be happy now that the blog is up again but I just can't help being irritated thinking all the work that has to be done such as re-p...

Shameless plugging alert! :) My dear lawyer/blogger friend, Monique of Bookish Little Me, has an interesting project going on in her blog. It's called The Spark Project. Today, The Spark Project features yours truly, and if you're interested, you can hop on to the post and read about that particular book that sparked my love for reading. :) Monique has also featured Angus and Tina on this project, which you can read here and here. Happy reading everyone! :)
