October is here and how am I doing with my reading?

Hello, favorite month of the year! Last month, I did not have any required readings for the month and I have not finished a single book. I am currently-reading two books which I started in September, though, and both are interesting except that I am not craving for the reading time as much as I did before. One of the books I am reading now is Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai (currently on Chapter 21) and although there are some history bits about India that I am not very familiar with, I still find the political and historical aspects to be very interesting. That time of year

Happy first of September! I have yet to hear Christmas songs playing on the radio, but yes, in my side of the globe, Christmas season for many starts as soon as the "ber" months start. Is it just me or don't you also feel as if yesterday was only January? Where did all the days go? Wednesday Diaries: Slacking off

Thirty-six days before the year ends and I thought I'll be able to finish 2014 without ever having any reading slump. Oh yes, I've had slacking off episodes now and then but these are often quickly remedied by novellas and short stories, which are actually normal to anyone who has such a tight reading habit like mine.
